Powered by a monstrous 6. 7-liter cummins turbo diesel engine, the 2011 ram pickup outguns the chevy silverado duramax in torque, and equals that of the ford powerstroke. With 350 horsepower and an astounding 800 lb-ft of torque and a tow rating up to 22,750 pounds, there isn't much a ram truck can't move. The best part about this truck, besides power and reliability, is that the new high-output cummins turbo diesel does not require diesel exhaust fluid like its competitors. Truck has a clean title. Drives like a beast, looks sharp and comes at an affordable price compared to the $34,000. 00 blue book value. It came originally with 5. 7 hemi engine that was all torn apart. So we got rid of that and installed the gas cab into a diesel chassis (engine, transmission, interior, harness, computers. . .) out of a 2010 6. 7 rollover we had with 64k miles. So the body shell is out of a gas truck with 101k miles, and everything else is from a diesel. Then we installed new take offs front and rear chrome bumpers and grille just to give it a nicer look, along with nicer wheels and running boards. Interior is nice and clean, very specious and comfortable. The all black interior adds a nice touch to the truck. .: under the hood mechanically truck drives like a beast. Need to confess that we had nothing but fords on the past 10 years. But boy oh boy this truck delivers a nice performance. Truck has plenty of power and does not miss a beat. It's a solid ride with great stability. Transmission shifts very smooth. Has tire pressure warning lights.
