I am the 2nd owner of this california, 1970 ford mercury cougar. The car has the original california plates and will go with the car if sold within california. Plates will stay with me if the car is to be sold out of the state of california. This is a numbers matching car, original! Ive owned the car now for 5 years and have put a lot of $ into the vehicle to restore the front flip up lights, its had a recent repaint, 351 windsor was rebuilt 1,000 miles ago to original specs with no upgrade in the cam, etc.., no problems with the 3 speed fmx automatic transmission, a/c has been restored, converted with front disc brakes and has ps and much, much more. The car has 90,250 original miles with the original interior. The tires are in excellent condition to include the spare. I have the original owners manual, five (5) original shop manuals as well as a binder with all receipts to date as invested to include a copy of the original title from the gentleman that i purchased the vehicle from. Selling my 2001 c2 mercury cougar. I am the second owner of this vehicle, have all maintenance paperwork and title in hand. Which i can show if needed and provide upon purchase. Vehicle pictures are on the wiesbaden bookoo link: http://wiesbaden. Bookoo. Com/i/64228338 this vehicle's registration expired on june 2nd 2017. I have no plans on re-registering the vehicle as it needs some maintenance that i just don't have the time for and can drive my other vehicle instead. I will register the car in inoperable status until my departure back to the u. I am happy to negotiate price however, please don't try to low ball me on price as it does not bother me to keep this vehicle and just ship it back to the states with me where i can do the maintenance myself. Not including tire rotations and quarterly oil changes. As of 17 march 2017: the car had an oil change and the oil filter changed. As of 13 october 2016: the car has a new front brakes (pads, rotors, and calipers). All fluids were checked/topped off if needed. Windshield wipers are new as well. Oil and oil filter changed on this date as well. As of 10 june 2015: the car had a new a/c compressor, a/c drier, belt tensioner, a/c service, r134a freon, new air filter, and new license plate bulbs installed. Now the bad is the car needs to have 2 new rear brake calipers. This is normal wear and tear on the vehicle. But i believe this needs to be done to pass inspection. I have additional pictures upon request.
