10,400 1973 MG MGB
  • convertible 94,245 gasoline red manual
Priced to sell and just in time for the summer, this car is all original in unrestored condition with 94,245 original miles, always garaged. The car is very straight with no accidents, clean title and in overall great shape. Very clean with original paint (Color is Damask Red looks more like a nice maroon in person). Hagerty puts the value of this car in the $16K range and has great investment potential according to Hagerty. Im the 3rd owner and previous owner only drove 300 miles in 10 years. 1973 was the last year for Chrome Bumper. The engine runs strong, good compression, starts easily both cold and hot, and does not smoke. Like all MGs it leaks a little oil (very small amount). It has that great British sports car sound and very fun to drive. One other disclosure; the headlight switch needs to be replaced due to some electrical issue so that will need to be fixed by new owner.

As one of the last MGBs, servo assist disc brakes, front and rear sway bars, bigger gauges, better controls, electronic ignition, thermostatically controlled cooling fan, in some ways, sort of like 35% Honda/Toyota and 65% classic English spo. Compression: 140-145 psi in every cylinder, zero smoke, 70 psi oil pressure (all 'as new'), excellent transmission, running, driving. We even spent more money to eliminate the side lights so that the exterior is identical to a 1962-1968 MGB, Air Conditioning
